IShowSpeed Contacted Islam Makhachev to Send Brother to Dagestan for Training
Renowned streamer IShowSpeed expressed his desire to send his younger brother, Jamal, to Dagestan for training under the guidance of UFC lightweight champion and P4P fighter Islam Makhachev. This idea emerged after Jamal failed to complete even 20 push-ups during one of Speed's live streams.
After Islam Makhachev reacted to a video where Speed first voiced this thought, the streamer decided to take action. He informed his brother that he would immediately message Makhachev to arrange Jamal's relocation to Dagestan.
IShowSpeed Praises "Legend" Islam Makhachev, Wants Jamal to Go to Dagestan
During a live stream, while browsing Makhachev's Instagram feed, Speed addressed Jamal:
“You're about to spend 2-3 years in Dagestan. This [Islam Makhachev] is a legend, brother. You will train with him, become strong... Your life will change, brother... Why don't you want to go? Are you scared? You have to be a man, brother.”
To which Jamal replied:
“No, I'm not scared. He's a legend, but I'm not going to Dagestan. I'm not going, brother... I'm scared, brother.”
Speed was absolutely serious about his intentions and even sent Makhachev a direct message, asking if he could send Jamal to Dagestan for "2-3 years, so he forgets everything."
“I just DM'd Islam Makhachev. He [Jamal] is about to turn into a man. Real talk. He's too scared.”
Currently, Islam Makhachev is preparing for his first defense of the UFC lightweight title, which, according to Dana White, is scheduled for August.
