Montenegrin coach Zvezdan Mitrovic has been overwhelmingly named the ABA League Coach of the Year, capturing 34.3% of the vote. Following him in second place is Joan Penarroya, the coach of Partizan Belgrade, who received 17% of the votes. Mihai Silvasan, leading U-BT Cluj-Napoca, secured third place with 15.8% of the ballots.
Mitrovic had an exceptional season with Cedevita Olimpija, guiding the team to a 6th-place finish in the league standings. This accomplishment mirrors their performance from the previous season, where they also concluded the regular season in 6th place.
