Noémie Brochant Expected to Join Phoenix Mercury for WNBA Season Start

As the WNBA season opener draws nearer, team rosters are solidifying. The Phoenix Mercury’s squad is anticipated to feature three French players. In addition to Monique Akoa-Makani, a French-Cameroonian player who was re-signed during the offseason, and Valériane Ayayi, who participated in the training camp, Noémie Brochant is also expected to be present for the season’s commencement.

Although Brochant was initially signed for the training camp, she was unable to attend due to her participation in the La Boulangère Wonderligue playoffs with Flammes Carolo. In the league, she averaged 11.4 points and 4.2 rebounds per game this season and has extended her contract with Charleville-Mézières.
