Moicano effectively controlled the first round, skillfully mixing his attacks and neutralizing Duncan's lead leg strikes.
Early in the second round, just past the first minute, Moicano landed a significant right hand that dropped the Scottish fighter. Moicano quickly capitalized, taking Duncan's back and immediately hunting for a rear-naked choke (RNC). Despite blood gushing from his nose, Duncan valiantly attempted to defend the hold as Moicano expertly locked in a body triangle to maintain his dominant position.
Moments later, Moicano successfully secured the RNC, tightening the submission and forcing Duncan to tap out.
