Ethyn Ewing Dominates Rafael Estevam with Third-Round TKO at UFC Vegas 115
Ethyn Ewing delivered an impressive performance in his second UFC bout, confidently defeating Rafael Estevam at UFC Vegas 115. The fight began with a tense first round where both fighters had their moments. Estevam attempted takedowns, but Ewing successfully defended them, showcasing excellent defense. However, shortly before the end of the first round, Ewing landed a precise left hand near the fence, sending the Brazilian to the canvas. Although there wasn't enough time for a finish, this moment clearly shifted the momentum in Ewing's favor.
A minute into the second round, Ewing landed a powerful right hand. Estevam seemed unable to answer the ensuing onslaught, and the damage began to accumulate. With a minute remaining in the round, Ewing again delivered a devastating right hand that left Estevam wobbly. Estevam made a desperate takedown attempt, but Ewing easily sprawled, finishing the second round with a clear 20-18 lead.
After a dominant second round, it seemed only a matter of time before Ewing would secure his first finish inside the Octagon. The moment arrived just over 90 seconds in when Ewing unleashed a liver shot that folded Estevam, forcing the referee to step in and stop the fight.
Official Result: Ethyn Ewing def. Rafael Estevam via TKO (strikes) at 1:44 of Round 3.
