Jahvon Blair, who finished as the third-highest scorer in Pro B with Poitiers, averaging 18.1 points per game, will now make his debut in the Betclic Elite league with Roanne. Blair joined the Chorale team in 2025. Despite facing shoulder injuries that limited him to playing in just half of the regular season (17 games), he made a significant impact. He was instrumental in a streak of twelve consecutive wins, ultimately averaging 18.0 points per game for the season, shooting 42% from three-point range, and adding 2.6 assists in 24 minutes and 30 seconds of play.
Zoran Cvjetkovic, the Sporting Director, expressed his delight at extending Blair’s contract: “I am very happy to continue the adventure with Jahvon Blair for another season. Jahvon perfectly embodies the culture we aim to build every day at Roanne. Giving him the opportunity to continue with us and compete at the highest level of French basketball was a priority. The basketball level is an absolute priority for me, and the human level is just as important. Jahvon ticks both these boxes very easily.”
Jahvon Blair shared his enthusiasm: “I am so happy and grateful to be back for another year with the Chorale Nation! I extend a big thank you to Zoran and Coach T.J. for giving me this new opportunity to be part of something exceptional. I can’t wait to reunite with my teammates and compete in the Betclic Elite.”
