DAZN personality Diletta Leotta has reportedly been cautioned about her actions after a colleague`s wife claimed she `put her a*** in his face`.
The Italian presenter, known for her striking looks, is married to former Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius.
However, this did not prevent the wife of former footballer Federico Balzaretti from expressing her jealousy towards Diletta in a recent interview.
Balzaretti, a former Serie A player, worked alongside Diletta as a presenter on DAZN starting in 2019.
Balzaretti is married to ballerina Eleonora Abbagnato, who admitted she felt intimidated by Diletta`s beauty.
Appearing on the TV show `Truth or Dare`, Abbagnato mentioned that a “beautiful woman” had caused her to feel “jealous.”
She later confirmed in an interview with Storie di donne al bivio magazine that the woman she was referring to was indeed Diletta Leotta.
Abbagnato stated: “I love my husband as much as the first day and I am jealous [of Diletta].
“Some time ago in Milan, I happened to meet Leotta, and because she worked with Federico at DAZN, she seemed overly familiar with him.
“I immediately stepped in and introduced myself in a very formal manner: `Pleased to meet you, I am his wife`.
“Diletta has curves that I don`t possess, but what truly bothered me were the memes circulating online, showing her and my husband appearing to be in love.
“I respect my husband, I trust him; he loves me like when we first met.
“But we are so good together partly because I am very careful about anything that could disrupt our harmony.
“There has never been anything between her and Federico other than a professional relationship.
“However, Diletta is an exuberant woman, confident in her charm, and I wanted to make the situation clear right away. I am the wife, end of story.”
During her television appearance, Abbagnato recounted one specific incident that provoked her jealousy.
The ballerina described the incident, stating: “She put her a*** in his face.”
Leotta married Karius in Sicily in June of the previous year.
The goalkeeper currently plays for Schalke in Bundesliga 2.
Explaining their long-distance relationship, Karius said: “Of course, she was hoping a little for [me to join an Italian club].
“I explained it to her. She wishes me the best in my career and said she is fully supportive.
“Milan is not far away. We can find ways to manage it. She is also very busy, so we will both be travelling back and forth somewhat.”
Meanwhile, Balzaretti transitioned to covering the Champions League for DAZN before taking on a director role at his former club Roma in January.
