Troy Deeney was ejected from the game shortly after his return to professional football due to a foul.
The 36-year-old Deeney, who had previously retired from Forest Green Rovers in 2024 after a 20-year career, decided to play again.

The former forward joined the Baller League, playing for Wembley Rangers, managed by Arsenal icons Ian Wright and Chloe Kelly.
Wright and Kelly used their special “wildcard rule” to bring in Deeney for a single game.
They chose Deeney, a well-known figure in English Football League, for the Baller League match against FC RTW at the Copper Box Arena in Stratford.
However, in the opening moments of the game, the Watford legend lost his composure and aggressively shoved Tareiq Holmes-Dennis off the ball.
This action sparked a chaotic scene as players from both teams clashed on the field in front of spectators.
Holmes-Dennis was visibly angry and retaliated against Deeney.
Despite the attempts of referee Mark Clattenburg to intervene, Holmes-Dennis`s fury was hard to contain.
Holmes-Dennis even made contact with Clattenburg in his agitated state.
Due to the incident, referee Mark Clattenburg had no choice but to send Deeney off the pitch.
Ultimately, Wembley Rangers were defeated by FC RTW with a score of 4-3, placing them 10th out of 12 teams.
This game was Deeney`s first appearance on the field since leaving his player-coach position at Forest Green Rovers in January 2024.
