Queens Park Rangers manager Marti Cifuentes is reportedly in discussions with a rival Championship club as he contemplates departing Loftus Road.
The 42-year-old joined the West London side in October 2023 and successfully guided the R`s to safety in the second tier.

Their survival was secured with a dominant 4-0 win against Leeds United, a result that also saw Leicester City promoted back to the Premier League immediately.
This season, Cifuentes led QPR to a comfortable mid-table finish, placing 15th in the Championship, and his management skills have attracted interest from a fellow rival club.
West Bromwich Albion is now reportedly seeking to appoint the Spaniard, following a reported deterioration in the relationship between Cifuentes and QPR`s chief executive, Christian Nourry.
West Brom, nicknamed the Baggies, dismissed manager Tony Mowbray last week after their push for the play-offs was unsuccessful, leaving the former Premier League club in 10th place and confirming another season in the Championship.
SunSport had previously reported exclusively that Cifuentes was evaluating his future at Loftus Road due to a disagreement regarding the club`s strategic direction.
Cifuentes had reportedly become frustrated by the frequent injury issues affecting his squad.
Furthermore, he was unhappy with the club`s decision to allow Ben Williams, the director of performance, to oversee the sports science, medical, physiotherapy, and nutrition departments remotely from Dubai.
Nourry, appointed in January 2024 to manage the club`s recruitment, previously worked for Retexo, a company specializing in football data analytics and advisory services.
Cifuentes signed a contract extension in West London in September, having been linked with the vacant managerial role at Sunderland the previous summer before Regis Le Bris was appointed.
The Spanish manager had sought assurances from the club`s hierarchy regarding their ambition to progress in the upcoming season, aiming for a return to the Premier League, a division they haven`t competed in for a decade.
QPR will play Sunderland, who have already secured a place in the Championship play-offs, in their final match of the season on Saturday.
