Natalia Bryant, eldest daughter of the late basketball icon Kobe Bryant, recently celebrated her graduation from the University of Southern California (USC).
A heartfelt tribute was incorporated into her graduation attire: she adorned her sash with her father`s famous Nike `sheath` logo, positioned near her heart.
Natalia earned her degree from USC`s School of Cinematic Arts. Well wishes and congratulations flooded in from notable figures including USC basketball player JuJu Watkins, WNBA star Sabrina Ionescu, and actor Michael B. Jordan.
First introduced in 2005, this logo has become a prominent feature on Kobe`s Nike footwear and apparel.
Kobe`s legacy, specifically his logo and “Black Mamba” ethos, will also be honored at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
His widow, Vanessa Bryant, designed a special emblem for the games inspired by these elements. She stated, “We designed this emblem in his honor… We hope this inspires the Mamba mentality in every aspiring Olympian and Paralympian. We`re so proud to see this emblem represent the Los Angeles Games. I know Kobe would be so proud to host the Games in this great city.”
Kobe, his daughter Gianna, and seven other individuals tragically passed away in a helicopter accident in January 2020.
