Manchester United are reportedly in discussions with Aston Villa regarding the potential early return of Marcus Rashford due to injury.
The 27-year-old England international suffered a hamstring injury in training last week and is expected to be out of action for several weeks.

Aston Villa`s final game of the season is against his parent club, Manchester United, a fixture Rashford would be ineligible for.
This means his loan spell`s last potential appearance would have been the home game against Tottenham on May 18.
It appears unlikely he will recover in time for that match, effectively ending what has been a challenging season for him.
Consequently, the forward, who arrived at Villa on loan during the winter transfer window, and Manchester United will need to decide his immediate future.
Rashford reportedly understands his future at Old Trafford under manager Ruben Amorim is uncertain, suggesting United would consider offers for him.
He is expected to discuss his situation with the club before the middle of June.
However, he might have to return earlier than anticipated if Manchester United and Aston Villa conclude that he won`t recover within the next three weeks.
This possibility exists despite Aston Villa having a £40 million buy option included in their loan agreement with United.

Commenting on Rashford`s injury, Aston Villa manager Unai Emery stated:
“He is injured. He picked up the injury this week, and we did a test yesterday – it`s his hamstring. We will try to test him before each match, but he is injured and likely won`t be available for several weeks.”
Thomas Tuchel`s blunt assessment highlighted disappointment in Rashford and Foden`s England performances, stating, “That was missing.”
Sources suggest Rashford remains undecided about his future and will have the ultimate say on his destination for next season.
Meanwhile, Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has reiterated his belief that sending Rashford and the £86 million signing Antony out on loan in January was the correct decision.
Speaking recently, he commented:
“We are lacking many things in the team. In January, we lost players like Rashford and Antony, as you mentioned. And we didn`t bring in new ones, which was a risk. We are trying to build something more significant. I believe there are objectives here more crucial than simply scoring 10 more goals this season. While this might impact the squad currently, it will benefit the club in the future, and I think we are heading in that direction.”
