Logan Storley is slated to compete against Florim Zendeli in the main event of PFL Sioux Falls on May 2nd. This event will take place at the familiar Sanford Pentagon, a venue where the former Bellator MMA interim welterweight champion has previously delivered impressive performances.
Storley expressed his enthusiasm for fighting in his hometown, stating, “Yeah, just because friends, family, the wrestling community, and my sponsor. A lot of people that I know are from Sioux Falls. A main fan base of mine that has supported my MMA career and wrestling career. So it’s always fun to get to go back and compete there.”
The fighter acknowledged the comfort and mental boost that comes with competing in a well-known environment. “Yeah, you know kind of what things are going to look like, what that ride to the arena, stepping off the bus, what that crowd’s going to sound like, look like. I think that does help,” Storley explained. He emphasized that the most significant aspect for him is the unwavering support from his long-time fans. “But for me, it’s just the support, right? The people that have supported you your whole career. I think that means the most to me and is special, right? They have had my back for the last 11-12 years of my career. So that’s why you want to go out there and fight through every position and dominate. Set a high pace and and look for a finish, for the fans.”

Analyzing his opponent, Florim Zendeli, the 2024 PFL Europe welterweight champion, Storley commented on Zendeli’s strengths. “Yeah, he’s a long, really long guy for 170, right. He’s tough, right. He’s gotten hit, gotten rocked before and recovered. He fights through a lot of positions. He’s good in the clinch,” Storley noted. His strategy to overcome these challenges is clear: “So for me, it’s going to have to set a high pace, get to my positions, make them work, and be explosive.”
