Leon Stergar’s Season Ends Early for Limoges

In what has been a challenging season for CSP Limoges, Leon Stergar emerged as a bright spot. The Slovenian guard, who joined last summer, quickly became an indispensable player and even extended his contract through 2028. Unfortunately, his season has come to an premature end due to an ankle injury, meaning he will not be returning to the Beaublanc court this season.

This is a significant blow for Limoges, who are not yet mathematically safe from relegation in Betclic Élite. With three games remaining and a two-win cushion above the relegation zone, CSP is in a relatively strong position. However, they will have to complete the season without the valuable contributions of Stergar, who averaged 10.7 points and 2.9 rebounds per game.
