UFAB Angers is banking on youth! Following their hard-fought season in 2025/26, the club has secured its first two signings of the transfer window. These are Anaëlle Dutat, who returns after three years at university in the United States, and Célia Cardenal, who was recently named MVP of the LF2 finals with La Tronche-Meylan.
Dutat has signed a two-year contract with an option to leave in the summer of 2027. As explained by coach Aurélie Bonnan, “the idea is to develop her at the 2 and 3 positions,” and she is already being hailed as “a rebounding machine.” Cardenal, at 24 years old, is set to take on her first significant role in France’s elite women’s basketball league after four seasons in LF2.
