Valencia has secured another individual accolade in the Euroleague this season, following their coach Pedro Martinez’s recognition. The Dominican point guard for the Spanish club, Jean Montero, has been awarded the ‘Rising Star’ title, celebrating him as the standout young player of the current campaign.
Throughout the Euroleague season, Montero averaged 13.8 points and 4.6 assists, spearheading the league’s most potent offense. He finished ahead of Saliou Niang from Bologna, his Valencia teammate Sergio de Larrea, and Momo Faye of Paris, who secured fourth place.
