Élie Okobo Seals Two-Year Contract with Dubai Basketball

The move of Élie Okobo to Dubai is becoming a reality. Following earlier reports of an agreement between the French international and the Emirati club, insider Andrea Calzoni has now confirmed that the contract has been signed, securing Okobo with Dubai until 2028.

This is a significant acquisition for the Emirati club, as they gain a point guard who averaged 11.2 points and 4.9 assists in the EuroLeague this season, serving as a key player alongside Mike James. In addition to Mam Jaiteh, who has been with the team for a year, and Okobo’s impending arrival, the Dubai club is reportedly in a strong position to welcome another player from Monaco: Jaron Blossomgame.
