The Lattes-Montpellier club has announced the arrival of two new players: French veteran Sara Chevaugeon and German talent Laure Zolper. These signings are expected to significantly strengthen the team’s offensive capabilities.
Regarding Sara Chevaugeon, the club describes her as an experienced player, accustomed to high-stakes games and long recognized as one of the top shooters in the French championship. Chevaugeon is noted for her ability to provide spacing, composure, and leadership in crucial moments. Her profile is deemed well-rounded and intelligent, offering valuable contributions both offensively and defensively. Her experience at the elite level, leadership qualities, and discipline are highlighted as key assets for the Lattes-Montpellier squad.
Sara Chevaugeon has a rich history in the French league, having previously played for clubs such as Challes, Lyon, Bourges, Charleville, ASVEL, and Charnay.

Laure Zolper, on the other hand, brings a more explosive and aggressive profile to the team. Described as a significant offensive threat, the German combo guard possesses the ability to score at various levels, create opportunities off the dribble, and consistently put opposing defenses under pressure. Zolper is noted for her high intensity on both ends of the court, her strong defensive activity, and her knack for generating steals through anticipation and agility.
Prior to joining Lattes-Montpellier, Zolper spent several seasons in her home country before playing for the Sheffield Hatters in Great Britain and Sodertalje in Sweden. In Sweden, she averaged 18.8 points per game, shooting 40.7% from three-point range. She also participated in the EuroBasket qualifiers in 2025.
The club anticipates that the combination of Chevaugeon and Zolper will pose significant challenges for opposing defenses. With their outside shooting accuracy and ability to quickly punish teams from beyond the arc, Lattes-Montpellier will feature a new duo capable of stretching defenses and creating substantial offensive space.
