Colorado Avalanche: Defenseman Cale Makar participated in the morning skate wearing a no-contact jersey. Forward Nazem Kadri is expected to miss some games, though the team hopes he can play in at least one more before potentially being sidelined longer.

Dallas Stars: Defenseman Nils Lundkvist did not skate with the team yesterday morning. Miro Heiskanen sustained a lower-body injury during last night's game in the first period. Further evaluation is scheduled for today, but he is confirmed to be out for Saturday's game. A video replay of the injury showed Heiskanen walking off the ice after the incident.

Detroit Red Wings: Forwards Michael Rasmussen and Mason Appleton remain sidelined. Goaltender John Gibson left last night's game in the second period due to a stiff neck, which coach Todd McLellan believes is not serious.

Tampa Bay Lightning: Forward Corey Perry was not present at the morning skate. Forward Anthony was on the ice, while Brandon Hagel continues to not skate with the team. Forward Anthony Cirelli has returned to the lineup after missing the previous two games with an undisclosed injury.

Vancouver Canucks: Forward Evander Kane did not travel with the team for their current road trip.
