In a surprising turn of events, Janelle Salaün, who was initially listed for the launch of the Project B league, is now expected to head back to Europe for the upcoming season. Turkish outlet Esik Acik reports that she has committed to Galatasaray, with a contract reportedly running until 2028.
Should this rumor prove true, it would be an excellent acquisition for the unfortunate finalists of the last Women’s EuroLeague season. Salaün has been having a stellar start to her summer in the WNBA, averaging 15.7 points and 2 rebounds per game for the Valkyries.
