UFC Featherweight Champion Ilia Topuria has indicated his preferred timeframe for a potential championship fight against the organization`s current Lightweight titleholder, Islam Makhachev.
Topuria stated his desire for when the highly anticipated crossover bout could take place, outlining his specific dates:
“I want to make the fight in the summer. But if that doesn`t work out, I`m ready for a championship fight in the fall. Other options we do not consider,” the fighter commented.
