UFC Middleweight Champion Dricus Du Plessis has addressed questions regarding the potential timeline for his highly anticipated matchup against Khamzat Chimaev.
Du Plessis stated, “We currently have two possible dates lined up, and I have already agreed to both. The announcement regarding the fight will be made public in the near future. The bout is expected to take place within the next couple of months, four months at the very latest. While a contract hasn`t been formally signed yet, I have given my agreement for either proposed date.”
It was previously reported by UFC President Dana White that while the fight between Du Plessis and Chimaev has been agreed upon in principle, it is not scheduled to happen before July.
