UFC Middleweight champion Dricus Du Plessis expressed satisfaction regarding Bo Nickal`s recent loss to Reinier de Ridder.
Speaking about Nickal`s defeat, Du Plessis commented, “`I don`t have a problem with all the hype around Bo Nickal. But he talked about people who have accomplished things he hasn`t yet, and I really don`t like that. In this industry, you need to be careful what you say.`”
Du Plessis continued, “`You should speak when you`ve achieved something. He was fighting no-namers. Humility does incredible things for people, and it looks like Bo got a full dose of it. It was nice to watch. Nickal mentally quit.`”
Recall that Nickal suffered his first career defeat last weekend at UFC on ESPN 67, where he was defeated by Reinier de Ridder via knockout in the second round.
