Former UFC champion Israel Adesanya recently shared his thoughts on his past opponent, Alex Pereira. The pair have a storied rivalry across kickboxing and mixed martial arts.
Adesanya specifically recalled their rematch in the octagon, highlighting the impact of Pereira`s strikes.
In the rematch, that damn leg kick was there again. When he kicked me in the first round, I thought: `Again?` The first thing you think is: `Oh, damn!` Something with his bones… Something is not right with his bones.
He then went on to comment on Pereira`s unique physical characteristics, offering a humorous comparison.
He has gigantism or something like that. Look at his knuckles [on his hands]. Look at his feet. Like Ronald McDonald. Damn big.
