Aryna Sabalenka concluded the WTA`s March tour in the U.S. with a significant victory at the Miami Open.
The world number one has previously triumphed on major hard courts, securing wins at both the Australian and US Opens. However, this Miami Open title marks her first win at a prestigious Sunshine Double event.
Sabalenka expressed her delight in winning the title in Miami, stating, `While we travel weekly and can`t call it home, I have a residence here, making it feel like home. I`m incredibly happy to return home as the tournament champion.`
Let`s review the past two weeks in Miami:
Notable Numbers: Key stats from Sabalenka`s triumph
- Recently, Madison Keys, Clara Tauson, Mirra Andreeva, and Iga Swiatek have all led in tour-level match wins for 2025. Now, after Miami, Aryna Sabalenka is the sole leader with 23 wins.
- Sabalenka also leads in winners this year (716), has reached the most finals (4), and is tied with Madison Keys for the most titles (2).

Emma Raducanu: The British star, known for her 2021 US Open win as a qualifier, reached her first WTA 1000 quarterfinal this week in Miami. She secured four consecutive main-draw wins for the first time since the 2021 US Open.
