Tsarukyan Ready to Fight Pimblett

Arman Tsarukyan, a former challenger for the UFC lightweight championship, has publicly stated his willingness to face Paddy Pimblett.

Discussing Pimblett`s performance and potential, Tsarukyan remarked, “Paddy was very good in his last fight. I think it’s safe to say that he is capable of defeating opponents from the top 10 now. It seems he is ranked eighth in the division and has no fights scheduled in the near future. He might be planning to fight at the end of the year.” Tsarukyan, however, expressed a desire for an earlier return to the octagon, stating, “However, I want to fight this summer. And only then — also at the end of the year.”

When questioned about accepting a bout with Pimblett, Tsarukyan confirmed, “Yes, I would accept such a bout. He has a loud name and recently defeated Michael Chandler. His winning streak is already six or seven fights. He hasn’t lost a single fight in the UFC yet.” Highlighting the appeal of the matchup, he added, “So there is a sense in this fight. Additionally, it’s an opportunity to gain more fans from the UK.”
