Ilia Topuria, the former UFC featherweight champion who recently made the move to the lightweight division, has stated that he would not grant Islam Makhachev an immediate fight for the title should Makhachev decide to transition back to lightweight and challenge for the belt.
Topuria asserted, “Who actually followed through on their promises? The moment I get the belt, he can step into the queue. It`s extensive, and many eyes are focused [on the title].”
