Taylor Bull Shines in Dominant BKB 52 Debut: “Hesitation Causes Problems”

MMA News

Taylor Bull triumphantly returned to winning form in the bare-knuckle boxing arena, overcoming significant challenges at BKB 52 to secure his victory within the Bare Knuckle Boxing Mighty Trigon.

Following a difficult loss to BKFC veteran Joseph Creer in his previous Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship bout, the Canadian bare-knuckle champion Taylor Bull announced his signing with BKB Bare Knuckle Boxing. He was scheduled to face Bubba McDaniel, an opponent with extensive experience across various combat sports.

McDaniel’s resume includes encounters with established fighters such as Zion Tomlinson Sr, former BKFC champion Chris Camozzi, and even future UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland during his ascent in the UFC. Ahead of the highly anticipated March 28th showdown, Taylor Bull shared his perspective on the significance of the fight, stating:

“I’m certainly eager to face him; he’s a seasoned veteran, and I’m not underestimating him in any way. My approach is to focus on my own strategy rather than getting overly fixated on my opponent. Hesitation leads to trouble. I’ll bring my game, dictate the pace, and if I perform at my best, he’s in for a tough fight.”

He added, “Every fighter considers the possibilities, but I’m incredibly confident. Training camp has been excellent; I feel fantastic and healthy. I’m anticipating an exciting fight, though you can never truly predict the outcome.”

Despite acknowledging the unpredictability of fights, Bull indeed delivered the thrilling performance he envisioned, decisively knocking out Bubba McDaniel in the opening round of their BKB 52 encounter. This emphatic KO victory against a reputable opponent instantly positions Bull as a formidable contender within the promotion.

The victory also holds significant implications for the super cruiserweight division, especially after Julian Fernandez claimed the BKB super cruiserweight championship by defeating Alex Wilson via knockout later the same night at BKB 52. With a win in this weight class, Bull advances closer to that coveted title, aiming to add it to his collection of bare-knuckle accolades, which already includes Havoc FC gold from his previous triumphs in Canadian bare-knuckle circuits.
