LF2 Playoff Structure

The ultimate champion will not only claim the title of 2026 French LF2 Champion but will also secure their promotion to La Boulangère Wonderligue, provided they successfully meet all required conditions for ascent and their commitment is duly validated by the league authorities.
Quarterfinals and Semifinals Format
These crucial knockout rounds will be played over two matches – a home leg (Aller) and an away leg (Retour) – following a predetermined order:
- The first leg will be hosted by the team that finished lower in the regular season standings.
- The second leg will be played on the home court of the team that achieved a higher ranking during the regular season.
It is important to note that drawn scores are permitted in these specific matches, in accordance with article 5.1c of the FFBB General Sports Regulations.
The Women's Ligue 2 Finals
The Grand Final will be an intense best-of-three series, meaning the first team to secure two victories will be crowned champion. The sequence of matches is as follows:
- Game 1 will be hosted by the team that finished lower in the regular season standings.
- Game 2 will take place at the home court of the team that achieved a higher ranking during the regular season.
- If necessary, the decisive "Belle" (Game 3) will also be held at the home venue of the higher-ranked team from the regular season.
