David Michineau Quitte l'AS Monaco
English Version
AS Monaco faces another setback. While Nikola Mirotic is sidelined indefinitely due to a foot injury, David Michineau has announced his departure from the squad, further weakening the team.
Michineau explained his decision, stating: "I was blessed to be part of this team, and I cherished every moment in the locker room. However, despite all my hard work, I didn't manage to secure the role I desired. I felt it was time for me to write a new chapter."
During his tenure, David Michineau played 17 league matches, averaging 4.9 points, and made only four appearances in the Euroleague.
Meanwhile, in other basketball news, Greek media outlets report that coach Vassilis Spanoulis is reportedly considering resigning and returning to his home country.
Despite these departures and uncertainties, AS Monaco faces a demanding schedule. The team is set to host Cholet this Saturday evening at 8:30 PM for a Betclic Elite fixture, followed by an away game against Nanterre on Tuesday for a French Cup semi-final, and then hosting Olympiakos on Thursday in the Euroleague.
