Oklahoma City Thunder`s star point guard, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, made a surprise appearance in Canadian rapper Drake`s new music video for the song `Nokia,` which premiered on Monday.

Gilgeous-Alexander is seen in the video at the 2:37 mark, showcasing different color variations of his new signature Converse sneakers around his neck.

Interestingly, the basketball player for Oklahoma City and Drake share the same Canadian birthplace: Ontario.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was not the only basketball element in the `Nokia` video. In the opening scenes, Drake is also seen wearing what appears to be a Drake Bulldogs jersey as he performs the first verse of the popular track from his recent collaborative album with PARTYNEXTDOOR, titled `$ome $exy $ongs 4 U.`

According to sports analysts, Gilgeous-Alexander is currently on pace to potentially become only the 10th player in NBA history to achieve the scoring title while simultaneously leading his team to the best record in the league. Historically, eight out of the previous nine players who achieved this went on to win the MVP award.

This season, Gilgeous-Alexander is leading the NBA in scoring, averaging an impressive 32.8 points per game, along with five rebounds and 6.4 assists.
