Sasha Vezenkov Secures Second Career Euroleague MVP Title

Sports News

The Euroleague MVP award remains in Athens! Following Kendrick Nunn’s recognition last year, Olympiacos’ standout player, Sasha Vezenkov, has once again claimed the most prestigious individual honor in European basketball. He finished ahead of France’s Sylvain Francisco and American forward Elijah Bryant.

This marks the second time the power forward has received this accolade, having previously won it in 2023. Vezenkov led the Euroleague in scoring with an impressive average of 19.4 points per game. His stellar performance was instrumental in guiding Olympiacos to the first seed in the standings. The team is set to face AS Monaco in the first round of the playoffs starting Tuesday.
