Arsenal began the second leg match against Real Madrid in a strong position, having won the first leg 3-0 at home.

Two impressive free-kicks from Rice put Mikel Arteta`s team in control of the game.

Arsenal could have further extended their lead early in the game, but Bukayo Saka`s penalty kick was saved by Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.

However, Saka later scored in the second half, increasing Arsenal`s lead with a skillful lob.

Real Madrid`s Vinicius Jnr then scored, reducing the deficit, but Gabriel Martinelli secured the victory for Arsenal with a goal in added time.
