UFC lightweight contender Paddy Pimblett has announced his plans to face current division champion Islam Makhachev as early as next year.
In a recent press conference in London, Pimblett stated, “After the Chandler fight, I want to fight someone in the top 5 like Charles Oliveira, Gaethje, or Poirier because I can`t challenge Islam being number seven in the rankings. So, it will be a fight with someone from the top five in Abu Dhabi and then a fight with Islam next year.”
