Rising prospect Noa Kouakou-Heugue is set to make his debut in France’s top professional basketball league, Betclic Élite. He has signed with Gravelines-Dunkerque for the remainder of the current season, marking his return to France.
This move provides a crucial opportunity for Kouakou-Heugue to showcase his skills, especially after a challenging stint in Perth last summer. Following in the footsteps of Alexandre Sarr, who transitioned from the NBL to the NBA, Kouakou-Heugue had hoped for a similar breakthrough but saw limited playing time in Australia, averaging just 1.6 points in 4 minutes per game. The former INSEP player will now look to make a significant impact with Gravelines.
