Nikola Djurisic, sélectionné en 43e position lors de la Draft NBA 2024 par les Atlanta Hawks, n’a finalement pas eu l’opportunité de fouler les parquets de la Grande Ligue. Le jeune talent serbe a désormais officialisé son engagement avec son club formateur, l’Étoile Rouge de Belgrade, comme l’a confirmé l’équipe.
Malgré des statistiques prometteuses en G-League cette saison, affichant une moyenne de 8,8 points et 3,6 rebonds, Djurisic ne rejoindra pas immédiatement les Rouges et Blancs. Il terminera la saison en cours au sein de son ancien club, le Mega Mozzart, avant d’intégrer pleinement l’effectif de l’Étoile Rouge, avec qui il a signé un contrat courant jusqu’à la fin de la saison 2027-2028.

Nikola Djurisic, drafted 43rd overall in the 2024 NBA Draft by the Atlanta Hawks, ultimately did not get the chance to play in the NBA. The young Serbian talent has now officially committed to his boyhood club, Crvena zvezda (Red Star Belgrade), as confirmed by the team.
Despite promising statistics in the G-League this season, averaging 8.8 points and 3.6 rebounds, Djurisic will not immediately join Red Star. He will complete the current season with his former club, Mega Mozzart, before fully integrating into the Red Star squad, with whom he has signed a contract running until the end of the 2027-2028 season.
