Year after year, the professional basketball league continues to demonstrate remarkable growth. According to the initial report released by the federation, matches in the division attracted an impressive average of 1,936 supporters per game, culminating in a total of 255,489 spectators throughout the season.
These figures represent two significant new records for the league, alongside an impressive stadium occupancy rate of 77%.
This surge in popularity provided the federation with the opportune moment to officially validate the format changes for the championship playoffs, which had been under discussion in recent weeks.
It is now confirmed: starting from the next season, both the quarter-finals and semi-finals will be played in a best-of-three series. The decisive return game and any potential third match will be hosted on the home court of the higher-ranked team from the regular season standings.
