The partnership was announced with a promotional image featuring Doncic alongside Cassidy, an Overwatch hero known for his cowboy-like aesthetic, hinting at Doncic`s “cowboy” spirit despite his move from Texas.
The Stadium game mode, initially introduced in Season 16, is a best-of-seven format where teams battle it out, with heroes gaining upgrades as the match progresses. Blizzard Entertainment has indicated that Season 18 will bring the most significant evolution to this dynamic game mode yet.
Beyond this collaboration, Doncic is no stranger to Overwatch 2, having achieved a Top 500 ranking in the game`s tank role in May 2024. Tanks are crucial strategic elements in Overwatch 2, responsible for creating space and protecting teammates.
