Following his recent victory over Anthony Smith, Chinese light heavyweight fighter Minyan Zhang set his sights on former UFC champion Jiří Procházka, issuing a direct challenge.
In his post-fight interview, Zhang specifically called out the Czech fighter:
“For my next bout, I wish to face Jiří Procházka. I was there in Singapore and watched your fight when you overcame Teixeira. I truly appreciate your fighting approach and respect your warrior spirit. Even though you no longer hold the championship title, I want to fight you as a test for myself. Jiří — you are the one I want next!”
