McGregor on Losing Bet: “What’s $500,000 to People Like Me?”

MMA News

Former UFC two-division champion Conor McGregor has reacted to losing his bet on Michael Chandler winning against Paddy Pimblett.

Their fight was held last weekend at UFC 314, where Pimblett secured a technical knockout victory in the third round.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), McGregor quipped: “Chandler, you scumbag! Give it a rest, fair play. My history with Mike and the knockout odds swayed me to take a chance. My mind was on Paddy. He`s improving, but still has room for growth. While the division is a bit of a mess, it`s competitive and the even playing field leads to exciting fights. So happy days, please. Seriously, what`s $500,000 to someone like me? Remind me? It`s more than you have in your wallet. I`ll repay it, no doubt. Actually, I just did.”
