Former BMF UFC titleholder Jorge Masvidal has shared his assessment of Ilia Topuria`s prospects in the lightweight division.
Masvidal stated, “He possesses incredible knockout power. He hits harder than Islam, harder than almost any lightweight. Much of it is thanks to genetics – God has gifted him abundantly – but his technique is also a significant factor. He is capable of winning and defending the title. He will electrify this division like a true rock star. If he were to fight Gaethje, who recently achieved victory, he would knock him out cold, sending Justin straight into a coma.”
