Following an outstanding season in Italy, where she secured a championship title with Schio in addition to domestic cups, Marième Badiane is reportedly on the verge of returning to Turkey. Having previously played for Fenerbahçe from 2023 to 2025, she is rumored to have signed with one of the Istanbul club’s rivals, Besiktas, according to reports from BJK Basket.
During her initial stint in Turkey, Badiane significantly enhanced her trophy cabinet, winning a Euroleague title, a European Supercup, and two Turkish championship titles. She will be aiming to replicate this success after concluding another strong season in the Italian Serie A, where she averaged 7.1 points and 5 rebounds per game.
