Manchester United and Manchester City played to a goalless draw in their final derby of the season at Old Trafford.
Despite efforts from Ruben Amorim`s team, they couldn`t break through Manchester City`s defense to score.
This result places them 13th in the league table, just one point ahead of Tottenham.
Manchester United is also four points behind 12th-placed Brentford and seven points away from breaking into the top half of the table.
Their hopes for European competition now largely depend on their performance in the Europa League.
So, who played well at Old Trafford today?
And who had a match to forget?
Here are SunSport’s Ken Lawrence’s Man United player ratings:
ANDRE ONANA –
Onana delivered a more composed performance, addressing some of the questions around his form. He showed good reflexes to deflect a Casemiro header from a City corner that was heading towards his own goal. Despite a generally quiet City attack without Erling Haaland, his shot-stopping was solid. However, a save from Omar Marmoush seemed a bit exaggerated.

NOUSSAIR MAZRAOUI –
Mazraoui was reliable and adaptable as a right-sided defender. He made a crucial tackle to stop Phil Foden and effectively marked the dangerous Omar Marmoush for most of the game. While his strengths as a wing-back, including pace and attacking intelligence, weren`t fully utilized, he performed his defensive duties well.
HARRY MAGUIRE –
Maguire is known for his tackling ability, demonstrated early on with a strong challenge against Omar Marmoush. However, his lack of pace and sometimes unpredictable passing were evident, especially as he had a lot of possession in this game. He was substituted for Victor Lindelof early in the second half, possibly due to a minor injury, with the Europa League match against Lyon in mind.
LENY YORO –
Yoro, the £52.2M summer signing from Lille, is starting to show his potential. At only 19, the French international is adapting quickly to the more intense and competitive Premier League compared to Ligue 1. Ruben Amorim likely sees him as a key part of the central defense alongside Lisandro Martinez and Matthijs de Ligt in the long term.
DIOGO DALOT –
Dalot seems to embrace the challenges of Ruben Amorim’s 3-4-3 system. He faced a tough test against the young and skillful Nico O’Reilly initially, but his greater experience helped him gain control. Dalot took up advanced positions when United had possession, and his crosses from the right wing caused problems for the City defense.
CASEMIRO –
Despite showing some recent improvement, Casemiro, at 33, sometimes appeared slow. His deep passes were often inaccurate, putting teammates under pressure, and his partnership with Manuel Ugarte was lacking. It’s likely he will move away from being a regular starter for the manager next season, even though he has two years left on his £350,000-a-week contract.
MANUEL UGARTE –
Ugarte, a £42.1 million signing from Paris Saint-Germain by former manager Erik ten Hag, is still adapting. The Uruguayan often lacked the speed needed for the quick transitions demanded by the manager from his central midfielders. Even in a lackluster derby match, he struggled to make a significant impact.
PATRICK DORGU –
Dorgu, a £25 million acquisition from Lecce, hasn`t been particularly impressive since joining. The 20-year-old still needs development. As a wing-back, he provides physicality on the left side, but needs to improve his composure and shooting accuracy when presented with opportunities. One shot in the first half was particularly poor. Regardless of his age or inexperience, he needs to improve his performance.
BRUNO FERNANDES –
Manchester United`s captain, Bruno Fernandes, was named Prem Premier League Playe
