TJ Shorts, who joined Panathinaikos last summer, has been a central figure, albeit often in the shadow of teammate Kendrick Nunn. Despite this, the talented point guard remains one of the most coveted players on the continent, with Maccabi Tel-Aviv reportedly showing significant interest in acquiring him.
Initially facing strong criticism for his early performances from coach Ergin Ataman, the former Paris Basketball star has since found his stride in Athens. While not yet replicating the dominant form he showcased during his tenure in Paris, the Macedonian international is currently averaging 7.9 points and 3.1 assists per game in the EuroLeague this season.
