The French national basketball team, “Les Bleus,” will engage in a rigorous preparation schedule this summer, facing Serbia twice as they gear up for the second phase of the World Cup qualifiers. The matches are scheduled for August 20th in Belgrade and August 23rd in Orléans.
These encounters are designed to test the team against one of Europe’s top basketball nations. Serbia, finalists in the last World Cup and bronze medalists at the Paris Olympics, will be a formidable opponent, though it remains uncertain if they will have their star player, Nikola Jokic, available.
In their most recent matchup, during preparation for the Paris Olympics, Serbia emerged victorious with a score of 79-67.
Tickets for the Orléans match will go on sale on May 21st.
