Manchester United fans were amazed when Leny Yoro blocked a shot with his head while on the ground during the Europa League quarter-final match against Lyon.

As Lyon fought to recover from a 2-0 deficit, Malick Fofana entered the United penalty area from the left flank and attempted to get past the 19-year-old French center-back.

Yoro appeared to lose his balance and fell to the ground.

However, he miraculously managed to block the shot with his head.

Fans were utterly bewildered, with one person exclaiming on social media: “LENY YORO SAVED IT WITH HIS HEAD!”

Another commented: “Leny Yoro just gets it.”

Manchester United went on to win 5-4, advancing to the semi-finals with a 7-6 aggregate victory.

After falling behind 2-0 in the first half with goals from Manuel Ugarte and Diogo Dalot, Lyon forced extra time by scoring twice in six minutes.

The visitors then scored two more quick goals to take a 4-2 lead in extra time.

However, last-minute goals from Kobbie Mainoo and Harry Maguire, following a Bruno Fernandes penalty, secured the win for United.
