Newcastle quickly established a 3-0 lead, with two goals from Jacob Murphy.

When former Leicester player Harvey Barnes scored the third goal, many fans decided to leave.

Sky Sports cameras captured hundreds of fans heading for the exits.

Commentator Seb Hutchinson remarked on the exodus, suggesting some might be going for a halftime drink but questioning if they would return given the team`s performance.

Fans online criticized the team`s performance, with one saying: “You know what hurts the most the lack of fight and effort no one at the club cares.”

Another added: “Just forfeit at this point.”

A third commented: “Embarrassing on all levels! On and off the pitch.”

Fans who stayed until halftime booed the Leicester players and displayed a banner protesting against club chief Jon Rudkin.

Throughout the game, home fans expressed their frustration by jeering misplaced passes.

Leicester City, managed by Ruud van Nistelrooy, is almost certainly facing relegation, being 15 points from safety with only seven games left.

Their poor form includes failing to score in the last seven Premier League games and not winning in the previous eight.

Leicester has conceded 21 league goals since their last goal in a 2-1 victory against Tottenham in January, going 12 hours without scoring.
