MMA and UFC veteran and legend Don Frye was recently rushed to the hospital following severe issues related to his breathing and heart function. The veteran fighter confirmed his emergency hospitalization, noting that persistent respiratory difficulties had recently escalated and were accompanied by irregularities in his heart rhythm.
Providing an update on his critical condition from the hospital, Frye expressed cautious optimism about his recovery.
“I still get tired, but I`m already better. I can breathe again. When I was brought in, my oxygen level was 96%, and I barely felt it. Now it`s 99–100%, and I feel the medicines starting to work. We just need to find the right dosage.”
Frye, known widely by his nickname “The Predator,” is regarded as one of the pioneers of mixed martial arts, achieving fame in the early days of the UFC and PRIDE FC.
