Jon Jones Prefers Ngannou Superfight Over Aspinall

UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones has indicated his preference to face former division kingpin Francis Ngannou, should Ngannou make a return to the Ultimate Fighting Championship promotion.

This comes amidst ongoing reports that UFC management has faced difficulties in organizing a bout between Jones and the current interim titleholder, Tom Aspinall.

Sharing his thoughts on social media (formerly X), Jones explained his view on a potential clash with Ngannou:

“I`ve heard Francis Ngannou is interested in the UFC… Now we`re talking. This would be a true superfight. A collision of champions, not just hype. He held the UFC title, I`ve defended mine for decades. Two kings from different roads. Not just one legend against a loudmouth who is in the spotlight now, but a clash of two true legacies. This is the fight that truly adds something special to my story. At least, that`s how I feel.”
