Top-ranked Irish welterweight Ian Garry has shared his thoughts on the possibility of lightweight champion Islam Makhachev moving up to the 77kg weight class.
Garry commented, “Makhachev`s potential move? That`s very interesting! He`s an incredibly skilled fighter in all aspects of MMA. He`s as complete as they come. Plus, he wouldn`t have to endure difficult weight cuts. I would absolutely love to fight him! If you want to prove you`re the best, you need to test yourself against fighters like him. I`ll just say one thing: UFC, call me! Do you really think I`d say no?” – Garry stated in an interview with Ariel Helwani.
