Aston Villa player Matty Cash and his sister shared a touching moment after the team`s Champions League journey ended.
Despite a strong effort from Cash and his teammates, who rallied from a 2-0 deficit to win 3-2, Aston Villa was ultimately defeated by Paris Saint-Germain with a 5-4 aggregate score.
Following the match, just as in the previous week, Cash was interviewed by his sister Hannah, who is a CBS Sports reporter.
Hannah inquired if he was proud of the team`s performance and asked him to describe the atmosphere when Villa scored twice in quick succession after halftime, taking the lead.
The interview concluded with the siblings exchanging “I love you,” once again.
Hannah expressed her pride, saying, “Well like I said last week I`m still very proud of you and I love you lots.”
Matty Cash laughed and responded to his sister with “Love you… round two,” as they shared a hug.
